Rosamaria successfully joined me in Barcelos and experienced her first hostel stay. We headed to Casa da Fernanda Tuesday morning and got caught in torrential thunderstorms and rivers of mud. Nevertheless Fernanda was a wonderful hostess and we made good friends that night.
We had a lovely day to Ponte de Lima, where we decided a laundromat was the priority so we could get the rest of the mud out of our clothes.
Today we tackled the mountain pass and we are pooped, but our Camino friends are great and our spirits are too.
I’m still not sure if any of my photos are any good and I’m finding writing this blog on my phone after upgrading to the latest PHP version is quite hard, so I think I’ll probably be writing about our experience mostly from home after we get back.
Time for a rest and then to check if laundry is dry…
Tchau for the time being…
